Student Errata

  • John Nash- A Beautiful Mind

Mankiw/Taylor Economics 2/e (ISBN 9781844808700) and Microeconomics 2/e (ISBN 9781408017913)

It has been brought to our attention that there is an error in table 17.2, pg. 361 in the above title. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this error, it will be amended at next reprint. To view the amended PDF page please click here.

  • Mathematical Errors

It has been brought to our attention that a formatting issue has led to two of the questions in the text being inflated incorrectly.
Chapter 14, Question 6
The first ‘1’ in the sums should in fact be a Euro (€) sign. Which has meant that, incorrectly, the total cost values were inflated by a factor of 10 (i.e. 19 should be €9, 110 should be €10, 111 should have been €11 etc.)
Chapter 15, Question 1
Again, the first ‘1’ in the sums should in fact be a Euro (€) sign.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused. We have also made an electronic copy of the amended PDF pages available for download here and the problem will be corrected in the text upon next reprint.
